This site has been an awesome resource to me for the past year. Just decided to become a member. We have 3 brahmas and 3 speckled Sussex. They're about 9 months old and they're now part of the family. So many perspectives and bits of info have helped me troubleshoot the challenges in caring for our small flock. Thanks for the resource!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to our flock. I love you user name. :eek:) You have two very nice breeds. The first breed I ever had were Brahmas (about 50 years ago), and they were gentle giants. Speckled Sussex are hardy, friendly and gentle (my children made lap pets of them), and good layers of large, brown eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
