Shipped eggs in a Brinsea mini eco?

Did you have success laying them down once the cells stabalized?  About to set some shipped eggs - curiosity...

Yes with that set I did ok. 60% hatch rate. But I didn't turn them in the beginning for the first 4-5 days (and that was a mistake) I had a lot of late deaths in lockdown. If your air cells are solid you can lay them down, if they are wobbly then you can keep them in the cartons until lockdown an then lay them down then. Did you get the eggs already? If so how were the air cells? The longest I wait to start turning now is 48 hours.

Eggs in my mailbox today.

The USPS cracked one, which was amazing really since they were packed pretty well. One detached cell, one saddle cell, two eggs that had some crazy thick shells that I couldn't get a decent candle on, and a couple that looked good to go. Sitting fat side up until tomorrow and I'll toss them in the Brinsea. Hopefully chick pics incoming on or around 4/22.

That's actually good news! You can mark the one with the detached air cell and give that one a little longer without turning then the rest. But don't loose hope on it. I have 4 in the mini that had totally detached air cells that are developing right now!! Good luck!
