Hi-
I am not new to chickens or this website. I have gleaned a lot of info just from reading others' problems and experience. Now I am having problems with a sick chicken of my own and trying to figure out how to start a thread. I have already taken the chicken to the vet, but I could still use some help.
 
ok so go to the emergencies/diseases/injuries and cures forum nav: which is above the reply box to type in and hit go go to a thread and right before the first posts theres a button that says start a new thread

If you follow the directions of the previous two posters, you should be able to make a new thread.

My sick hen probably has an internal layer issue and is quite ill. I just like to get as much information as possible, and even the vet I took her to (who has avian experience) did not know several things I have learned from this group. The hen does seem a bit better this afternoon, though.
I just feel that I should do what I can for my animals, since I am the responsible party. Many times a fairly simple or even cheap remedy can be useful if the information is available. Plus, in the heat of a situation, sometimes I forget the obvious choice.
