Hi!

I am a new member and will be getting my first chicks (4 Pita Pintas) in (hopefully) a few weeks. My family lives in northern California and I have a 7yo daughter and 3yo son. I'm excited to be getting them and I'm hoping that we will do alright by them.

Glad you decided to join us.

I had never heard of Pita Pintas and had to look them up…they are so beautiful. Would love to see pictures of the chicks when you get them. Good luck with your new adventure.

If you haven't experience, I would suggest visiting the Learning Center and read the articles on Raising Baby chicks to help you prepare for their arrival. Be prepared to start building your coop when they arrive, they grow so fast and you will be glad to have a permanent home ready for them.

Feel free to ask questions, we are here to help.

Greetings! Welcome to BYC!
