First of all I hope I am posting this in the correct area, if not I am sure you will tell me and I better read all the rules again on how things work.

Who am I ? I am AlphenDroom, Alphen is where I live and Droom is dutch for dream!
I am living my Alphen Dream, Since moving out of a house with no backyard I have now got some land that reminds me of home (Australia).

My Chickens! I have to many, just ask my man, I have Ayam Cemani, 21 in total. They ar such characters, As I type this Snowy (my 5 month old rooster) is trying to get into my lap for his early morning cuddle.

Welcome to BYC. You definitely posted in the right place, and I'm glad you decided join our flock. Ayam Cemani are certainly a rare and gorgeous breed. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Ayam Cemani.

Thank you for the warm welcome, I have been a silent cruiser for a very long time but decided it was time to join. :)

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I too have a roo called Snowy!! He's a polish frizzle though very friendly and likes to sit on my knee too. Many of us were lurkers before joining up I definatly was one.

Wishing you the very best for the future and hope you enjoy BYC, I am sure you will :frow

Glad to have you join! Feel free to make yourself at home!

I bet a lot of heads turn when you call Snowy and a black rooster comes out. Do you still live in Australia? We keep getting folks who want ayam cemanis and don't know where to send them.
