NOW WHAT!!???

Ive had a hen that got "cozy" with me she hung close to house eating and seemed waiting on hand outs .. and I did give some healthy treats.

She is very comfortable being close to me when ever im out and about. i can pet her with not much dispute and she has no problem taking off if feels she is not safe. Okay yesterday she seemed unable to connect to the food offered her and seemed "slow" she was not falling allover the place though or unbalanced yet a month ago she was the one I was watching because she was stumbling around very slightly. She is not exhibiting any other signs normal poop.
However after a couple of days of free ranging I see this on coop floor

I never could figure who ut was and no body seemed sick. Except two one dead one sent off for narcolepsy and they said complete white liver and swollen spleen.. with a guess of fatty liver she had the bright green diarrhea poop.. pending other tests.. that im still waiting on. Before all this has come about.

Now ever since the big freeze and snow half of my girls have had bare spots on in different ways or patterns but same areas of back.cant find my other pictures.

Today ive noticed she slow again and looks like more feathers gone so I pick her up and look her over and she gives no fight. No nits no lice the base of feathers look fine. Shes not puffed up eats but picky and slowly seems heavy not thin her feathers dont look ragged. No respiratory problems.
I did see her legs are pail and not a bright yellow like usual,
Comb looks great, eyes clear, no fowl smell in mouth and crop is not stuffed but not empty il check her later and see if she packed some food for the night. I took her in fed her vitamins and yogurt with her regular pellets softened. She eat about half cup of it. She has this bare spot on the side not across her back some look broke others splintered at base and some pulled right out. Skin is dry looking cant see any bugs though I rubbed with iodine then sprayed vet wound spray on it. I was watching and waiting for a poop and I got it. Its stinky the white is yellow the other is a greenish black.and smelly not as bad but as close to the smell of cecal poop.

I haven't had a chance today to look this up.. any one with ideas please.. share.

When is the last time you know she laid an egg? She may have a bacterial infection and /or EYP. What does her abdomen feel like between her legs? Soft and squishy, like a water balloon or firm and normal?
Do you have a roo? Broken feathers can be from rough mating or other feather picking especially if feather shafts freeze in cold weather. The missing feathers could also be from mites. they leave their host during the day, hunt them at night with a flashlight. They are hard to spot but they do leave little dirt spots (poop) on chicken's skin.
If other birds were diagnosed with fatty liver, stop corn, it is a major contributor. Let us know what else you notice, bring her in if you can, for monitoring.

She had one yesterday but I cant be out there everyday for a week watching. . Thats the problem

Huuummmmm when I picked her up I get a grip more like a sling I spread fingers to suport sides and part of ribs and chest my thumbs cover elbows of wings before picking her up helps with the feeling of safety. So I can feel if sh were lean or not but didnt not check for swollen tummy her butt looked normal and not red or swollen when I looked for lice or other problems the poop doesn't smear on butt feathers and isnt runny. The bare spot had a dusty look but they were dust baithing adds to my problem of things

Two ideas for you. 1) Collect her poop and take it to a vet for labs. 2) use blu kote to spray vent, her eggs will have purple streaks on them.
Request: pics of bird 1) back side 2) face&comb.

Thats what suprised me here.. (fatty liver) I had stopped feeding even my once a day cup as a treat because they wouldnt eat their feed and the times my daughter fed horses they would go up and scavenge the dropped stuff. So I didnt think I should feed them more also I had my daughter stop feeding them outside so they didnt waste and the girls weren't eating it up. However one thing that might had been a cause was during the snow I had put out hay and I used old moldy hay.. not thinking.. well yes they got sick so i used corid that seemed to work then after that wormed them with pig swig (one dose). I looked up issues with mold depleating nutrients and I saw they were not eating very well still so I got cat food soften and gave vitamins mixed with yogurt. So could have been something in the cat food? I have two how keep showing what looks like a yeast infection smelly kinda sour they get better then its back.. what can I get im thinking its going to spread. This one doesnt have those signs though. But I need to get something going before shes worsens.

Okay will do in morning unless I can happen to get lucky tonight and I can see whats going on.

Yes I have a roo that was one thought but she will submit. I see only see one hen that will be my next subject who has been roughed up and by more than just him. She looks rough. No other birds show the signs that the hen with fatty liver had one died the other two lived and cleared up.

They don't eat feed when there is something wrong with it. Sometimes the feed is moldy before you even buy it. Many times the chickens will tell you (by not eating it) before you notice. Mold can cause respiratory issues too. If the hay was moldy and they breathed the spores, their breathing may not be right. What is their normal feed? Flock raiser or layer, crumbles or pellet? Cat food as a supplement may help and yogurt can help restore gut health but if given too often it causes diarrhea. Vitamins are good. How do they get calcium?
