How is your Hen? I think that my rooster recently came down with a respiratory infection as well. Currently treating him right now and hoping for the best. Any info would be appreciated!

We were prescribed anti biotics from the vet and that was a quick and easy cure

I ended up treating with a product I ordered online, called Denegard. It is off-label use for poultry in the US, but it worked well. Below is a link to a discussion and info on where it can be purchased, etc:

Sounds like MG. Tylan 50 or 200 and tylan soluble for the whole flock. Significant improvement in just 12 hours. I did Tylan 200 Sq 1 x per day until I could get the tylosin in capsules

Single white female living in the deep south of Ontario with 2 cats and:

 

I have 15 chickens and 3 muscovies (Hamish is the drake (bought him at an Amish auction), and 2 females). 

13 hens: Columbian Rock (5), Barred Rock (1), RIR (1), New Hampshire Red (2), Black Sex Link (4)

2 roosters: Columbian Rock (1), and one accidental Barred Rock (1)
