Mucus in duck poop, is this normal? *poop pics*

Hello I've posted a few times about my sick duck Ethel (see link below for more information)

She is looking much better, eating and acting more like herself. But her droppings it seems haven't entirely cleared up, they are still runny though not quite diarrhea. Today I noticed mucus in them. The picture below is from Ethel and the other from my other duck Fred.





What could be causing this? Could it be coccidiosis? I haven't seen any blood and she is back to herself for the most part.

Also what helps clear up diarrhea in general? I have been adding apple cider vinegar to their water daily.

Ethel's droppings still appear to be loose but there isn't as much mucus as I found initially. I have added rolled oats to the feed in the hopes it helping solidify her droppings. Any other tips that could help?
 
I don't know if it is related to her being sick, but all my ducks have both of those poops and everything in between including white liquid. It all depends on what mine eat. Right after the get their pellets it's brown and yucky. Once they start grazing on grass it turns into solid poops. When the get treats that turns it colors too.

I'm glad I seen this. My one was having weird ..poos.. & I wasn't sure if it was normal, but what I don't get is for the most part they eat eggsactly (he he) the same stuff. ?

All mine eat the same thing but my patio is always a mine field of different poops. Even though they all get the same thing doesn't mean each one eats the exact same amount of everything. Some will drill, eat grass and then pellets and others will just eat the pelts and go swim and some will just eat grass and a pellet here and there. I image that being sick would affect their poops too but I'm not sure how that would change them since they already are so very different
 
This is helpful. I notice Fred's droppings change here and there and tend to be mushy and more tanish-brown with pellets. More brownish after mucking in the mud and they like carrots too so orangeish poops usually occur. But Ethel's always seem to be loose and/or watery :\
