It seems like all the New Yorkers are up-state. Anyone here from Long Island? I know you must be out there!
 
Heyya! I happen to be in Northport, so we're not THAT far... am I the only one who gets questionable glances from people when I tell them I have chickens? It's seeming to get more popular, but it's not exactly like having a cat or a dog around here!
 
I'm here in west islip been raising chickens for about 4 years just started incubating and selling day old chicks. Glad to see other people around me with chickens.
 
I am in Ridge. Have had my girls three years now and just starting turkeys for the first time. They are due to hatch in the next day or so. We have Chicken eggs coming in on Monday to put in the incubator.

We are getting buffs and EE's. This is our first run on turkeys so we shall see. Two of the eggs in the incubator are shaking and you hear a pip ever so often. They are getting ready! We are raising them for dinner.
