Probably a production red.

thanks guys! Can I also ask why you think he is a production red? I guess im wondering what to look for in the future. Also do the PR live as long as other chicks do like RIR?

Good deal! Do you know if they live as long as a RIR would live?
Not usually, and their laying life is not typically as long as an APA standard RIR's laying life is. However usually get more eggs per hen per week during their laying life than you do with pure RIRs.
