Water, water everywhere! :p But I'm working on getting it under control. Silly duckies. :)

I mine were so messy in the brooder I thought I wouldn't get any more ducklings ever. But now that they are on the pond I feally want more. Lol. They are the coolest things ever, as soon as they find out your outside they waddle as fast as they can to come see if you will give them corn. My kids feed them from they're hands.

To be totally honest, mine aren't nearly as messy as I thought they were going to be! I just posted on my facebook that 47 ducks ain't got nothin' on my 3 year old ;) Seriously, the kid made a mess in a matter of 3 seconds of this pureed fruit stuff that got all over my walls, the floor, a door, on a painting, and behind said painting...the little punk.

How much have you been cleaning? I hope I'm doing enough. I change the gallon waterers 3x a day, "freshen up" their bedding throughout the day by adding it on top, then my husband and I tag team and clean them completely at night.

I'm open to any suggestions on how to avoid daily cleanings ;)

I don't know if there is a way to avoid daily cleanings. Especially with 47. I could barely keep up with four.

LOL yeah, I didn't think anyone would actually be able to help in that area :p I AM looking forward to them getting moved outside though!

Also........Soon to be 52

I'm meeting with someone tomorrow for some KC's, which is so funny because back when I decided I wanted ducks about a year ago, this was the first breed I considered, and now I'll have some!

................................................and not to mention the 4 goslings coming next week.........................

Full house!

Bahahaha! So true! I'll have to remember that next time I get more ducklings. So easy compared to a toddler

I've basically been doing what you've been doing for cleaning. And I just have 6!! You are definitely quackers. ;)

And about the 3 year old....so true!!

"Quakers" yup! Can't believe we're still 9 short of our full starting flock....and eventually want to get up to 300-350 . This is the business we've decided to start with (we both dream of living completely off what we make from our property) and I couldn't be more thrilled!

Drumstick--thanks :D he just want me to let them out to play with him lol

I see a few of you can commiserate with the toddler comment. How many kids do you guys have?

I don't actually have kids, but I have 3 siblings and my family does daycare for our neighbors, who are almost 5 and almost 3. Throw in homeschooling and it gets a little crazy at times!
