I love my chickens more than any other of my pets and I just got worried when one of them started coughing. None of the others are coughing but one has a featherless spot on her back. With the avian influenza going around I was wondering if anyone new what I should do. Thanks!

To ease your mind, it is probably not avian influenza. Chickens get "colds" just like people do. Is it a persistent cough or just every now and then?
