Thanks! I did run the search before I asked, but wanted to see if anyone online had new/firsthand information. It seemed to get better for awhile, then another chick in sickbay must have pecked it. I guess I'll search eye care next.
 
Veterycin eye gel, Terramycin eye ointment, or plain antibiotic eye ointment such as Neosporin would be good to apply to the eye twice a day. If there is drainage, then saline can be used to flush the eye before the gel or ointment is used.

How is your little chick doing?? We just had one htch with a bulging eye. He's under mama now.
 
Her eye had shrunk down, although still looked either scarred, or like the eyelid was covering it, she seemed to be doing great, and then died on me :(.
 
Sorry you lost her!
Whatever caused the eye problem could have affected her brain as well or something like that. Mutations rarely "travel alone".
