What about black oil sunflower seeds?

Can I formulate a ration to use after chick starter which contains whole black oil sunflower seeds for our red rangers? Do people use black oil sunflower seeds for meat birds?
 
I just use a combo of 25 percent BOSS ( black oil sunflower seeds ) along with 25 of scratch and 50 of grower or layer. Crumbles or pellets. For every 50#'s I add a half pack of vitamins. (the 4 oz pc's)
