The breed isn't as big of a deal but I have no idea how old my chickens are so I have no idea if this one is male or female. I'm not good with that. Lol. The person I got them from said they've had them since hatching but couldn't remember their age. It's not the best picture but this one has a bigger and redder comb than the others that look like it. I can get better pictures later of I need to.

I've been studying the Barred Rocks, and based on the very limited knowledge I've gained in two days... he looks like he has the barred gene. I'm guessing it's being overridden by some silver/white genes? I dunno, just thinking out loud. Neck barring looks more like a Barred Rock than a Delaware. That's all I've got!

Man! Okay. Thank you guys! I have 2 more that are different that I'm questioning also. I will try to get some pictures later today or tomorrow.

The Red is a cockerel.

Definitely Barred Rock crosses for the other three I'd say (the one on left looks pretty much same as pure BR to me). Maybe the father was a BR and the father was a White Leghorn (or any white chicken), for example, which I think would result in the dominant white washing out the black in some areas. I have heard people say that BR hens can grow waddles and combs early on, so you might get lucky. You'll know soon enough though.

Maybe the father was a BR and the mother was a White Leghorn (or any white chicken), for example, which I think would produce that coloring.
