"MARINA!" He screeched, he got clawed in the eye by the stiff and he started falling, the stiff flew after him while he was falling at speeds of 90mph. He had closed his eyes from the shock of pain he felt when he was clawed, but so close to getting bitten, the stiff missed him by an inch.
 
Marina flew at the stiff, ramming into his side. The stiff was momentarily stunned. In his shock, Marina landed a blow to the side of his neck. Marina thought that he was done with. She turned to leave, and with the last of his fading strength, the stiff managed to slice 3 jagged claw marks from her shoulder down to her hip. Seeing that the stiff was dead, Marina returned her attention to Karol, who was lying, unconscious on the sand. "Karol. Karol wake up." Feeling something sticky running down her side, Marina looked over her shoulder to see a large amount of blood flowing from the long wound.
 
Anien noticed Marina down beside a limp Karol. A stiff used his long claws to rake down his back. Anien flipped around quickly and smashed his tail into the Stiffs beak. It knocked of a good amount of the beak. He finished the Stiff off with a quick slice to his throat, and Tamina finished off the last Stiff. Anien quickly dove at his full speed toward poor Karol, wondering if he was badly injured.
 
" Goodbye, Anien. We can't stay here for long, are you coming back with us?" Taming asked Anien. He shook his head, and she understood. She lifted off the ground and looked back at Anien sadly.
I thought we had something, She thought, i thought he could be my anchor in the wild sea. I guess not...
