We kept about a dozen guineas under our front porch for 3 months than let them loose to free range 24/7 we havent really messed with them at all in three years. some have died and babies have been born, I'm not sure how many we have now, hubs says about 10, they are pretty wild they dont let us handle them much but ours haven't wondered too far off when they do they always come back. We could just be lucky .. ours kill snakes , rats , all kinds of little things.. we also have well trained pit bulls so we don't have any fox/raccoon/coyote/people issues...
