This recipe can be adjusted according to how many apples you have on hand. So, the basic recipe is this:

4 - 6 Apples
1 package already made pie crust like Pillsbury
1/2 cup sugar, more or less

1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 Tbsp of wheatgerm
2 Tbsp of soft butter
Sesame seeds
1 egg

Peel apples and cut into wedges. Roll out pie crust and cut into 2" squares, (pizza cutter works great) place one apple wedge onto middle of each square of pastry. Combine sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg. Have the butter on hand, sprinkle sugar mixture over apple slices and place a small dollop or dab of butter on each wedge. Fold dough over apple wedges to cover completely. Place on greased baking sheet, seam side down. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seed and a little sugar (sugar optional)

Bake at 400 for 8 min. Increase heat to 425 for about 3 or 4 minutes until golden brown.

These little suckers are good to freeze into little packages and thaw when you want to pig out.
