10w old d’uccles

These are 10 week old duccles. I originally suspected one male, one female due to size difference and leg thickness. Now both have fairly pink combs. Neither have combs that I’d expect for a cockerel of this age, but they also have too much comb compared to other duccle pullets I’ve raised. Both have some brown leakage around the neck.

Any opinions?

Both cockerels, in my opinion. In 2 or 3 weeks male specific feathering will start coming in and you'll know for sure then.

What's a duccle ?

A breed of true bantam. The birds you see above are D'Uccles. They come from the Belgian municipality of Uccle, hence the name D'Uccle, which translates to "of Uccle"
