3 Year Old Chicken Gone Lame

She’s gotten much worse. She cannot sit up and her neck is twisted around. I’m not sure about her poop, it doesn’t seem like there is much. Likely putting her down tomorrow. Not sure what happened :/

Sorry about your chicken. Are you planning on getting a necropsy if you put her down? I would suspect possible Mareks disease, but a necropsy by the state vet would be the only way to know for sure. Here is a list of state vets:

Thank you. I think it may have been botulism related to the larvae I fed her. It was from my compost bin. I’m not feeding any of the chickens larvae anymore, just their feed and fresh produce scraps. Sad lesson to learn Appreciate the support and link
