6.5 week BCM gender?

Hi folks! This is “Atilla the hen”, which I’m realizing may have been a name that temped fate a bit too much. He/she is a black copper maran, and I think we are at just under seven weeks. Atilla has beautiful gold feathers on the neck, none in the back. Is there ANY chance this is a pullet? I know we need to wait a bit to be sure, but that’s a pretty big comb. Much bigger than our other chicks, but they are all different breeds.

Ah well - I looked through enough other BCM threads at this age that I had SOME hope of pretty dark brown eggs, but we can actually keep one cockerel (7 chicks, supposed to all be female) and as long as he keeps his sunny disposition, we are good!

He and our buff orpington female are the friendliest of the chicks so far. We've got kids, so if there is any aggression we won't be able to keep him. Crossing fingers! He sits on my knee and trills when I pet his neck.
