6-7 week olds sleep in next box

I have 4 6-7 week old chicks who have moved into the coop and all night long they pile into nest box. I am not concerned about themm, but am coureous if this could be a problem down the road when they get older

Yes, it will be a problem down the road. Take the nests away until just before they start laying. When you put the nests back up, make sure they are lower than their sleeping roosts. It would be a shame to have poopy eggs.

It is built into the coop, hangs on the outside with a reach in door. so I should put up something to block it then?

Block off your nest boxes unless you want poopy eggs when they start laying. It is better to break them now then later.
