Best run floor in a rainy area

I'm not in an overly rainy area, but we got flooded for weeks on end last summer.

I had been using mulch, but mulch holds a lot of water and thus needs regular raking/turning with PDZ mixed in. I found something similar called "Kid Kushion", which is like a playground wood chip. Very chunky. It's been fantastic!
