I'm looking for Black Dutch bantams. A breeder for a trio or chicks in the central FL area, or eggs available for shipping from just about anywhere.
I thought that one of the hatcheries used to have them, but sadly I can't find the black variety available anywhere currently. I'm not interested in showing, but really want a flock to breed and maintain.
If anyone has any info on where I can get some, I'd really appreciate it. If not I guess I'll end up running a mixed flock of Black Japanese, Wyandotte, OEG which are the black bantam breeds I CAN get...
Or give up and go with a Olandsk Dwarfs which are surprisingly easy to find. I just really prefer a black bird.
