Well, I quess I should be having some chicks in a few weeks or so, one of my new buff hens is setting on her nest and boy does she scold me when I reach into the nest beside her to get the other eggs laid by the other buffs and rEd sex link hens!!

I just had a RIR go broody on me she makes a fuss everyday when she see me coming in the coop.

My Buff orphington is broody for the second time--eggs due to hatch tomorrow. She is very swee tthough. Lt's me pick her up--she makes a growling sound but has never pecked at me. Good luck--she will be a great mom!
