Brooding chicken question

So we have a white brooding silkie and I'm wondering what if we got another silkies fertilized egg and gave it to her instead of her own eggs like will it still work good will she take it as her own. please respond back thank you

Sure will!
Broodys don't usually care who's eggs they sit on. If she is currently sitting just do the egg switch at night and she won't even realize it.

If she gets chicks will she stop brooding

Yes if she successfully hatches chicks she will raise them (usually 4-6 weeks from hatch day) and then soon after will go back to laying eggs. I don't have silkies but I have read that they go broody often.
