Can I feed slugs to my chicks?

I remember many years ago ..I being new around slugs found one in my kitchen and I was pregnant!! A neighbor boy, turned out to be a Dennis the Menace type, told me to put salt on it to kill it. Little did I know at the time!!!

I am glad I have four ducks now as I have lots of hostas and I hear slugs love hostas.

Out here in NY I must have some of those "Northwest" varieties too, because mine are huge! After a rain at night, I have them crawling up the side of my house and sliding glass door! I'm trapped!!
My dogs go out at night and come back in with them on thier fur, ugh!
Even if the hens only get the little ones, eventually, they should reduce the number I have around here.
