I have one of the flock party feeders from TSC, can I mix my grit and oyster shells together and put them in it to feed my flock? Or would it be better to get the rabbit bin feeders and hang from my fence?

The feeder should work just fine as a feeder for anything small enough to fit in it.

I would not mix my grit and oyster shell together, as your birds might just need grit and end up with way more calcium than they need.

Just a caution about using this type of feeder for grit and/or oyster shell: be sure that the top is securely latched into the bottom before attempting to move it. It may seem obvious, but the last thing you're going to want is for the two pieces to separate and dump all that grit/OS all over the place...:th
I contest that this is true

Had feed spill everywhere
