Chick water

What should I add, if anything, to my chicks water? I have avia charge 2000, but some sites say not to add anything to the water, and others say to do it. So I'm confused, what do you guys do?

I've read that for the first two or three days you need to add 3 tblsp of table sugar for each quart of lukewarm water. Then plain water after that.

The table sugar is a good idea to help them out with an energy boost. The vits and electrolytes will always be good for them. We use it for the first 8 weeks for the girls and until processing for the meat birds.
