Chicken door thoughts

I was thinking about it to keep my little guys in the coop and run but thinking more carefully i can raise it but still should put a door

Can you partition off part of the coop for the little ones? That would make integration easier with see but can't peck from the big ones. Then as they get a bit bigger make a small door for the little ones so they can get out but the big ones can't get in.

If you use a locking coop door you wont need to raise it up.

Mom won’t let them get pecked. It’s more to keep them away from the cats
