Chicks Turn 5 Weeks Tomorrow

The chicks will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Since Sunday, they have been staying in the run/coop all day. I take them out when the temperature gets up to 75 degrees. Today, they decided to try out their wings. My roosting bars are 36 inches off the ground. Four of the eight managed to fly up and land on their own. The flights were great. The landings need a little work but I was pretty impressed that they did it on their own. There is a ladder (on the right side of the coop) in the second pic, but they didn’t notice that. The left side has no ladder.

Omg mine turn 5 weeks tomorrow too!! I’m in love with my 4 EEs! I moved mine out yesterday! Yours are so cute!! I love the setup

They look great. Looking at the first pic, I wonder if it might be a plan to fit a shield over the water supply.

I have covers for the cups. I haven’t put them on yet. I wasn’t expecting the chicks to fly up there today. Thanks for the reminder. I had forgot to put them on.
