Coturnix Quail Hatch Along

My absolute favorite bird from my flock She was from my first ever hatch about a year ago, and was smaller than the other chicks. I didn’t have a spare brooder at the time, so I raised her and another small chick in a cardboard + styrofoam box on my bed. She’s a character, still very friendly even as she gets older which I am happy about.

If they're from who I think they're from, it's not a surprise that they're very tame. They got a lot of love and attention.

Definitely!! I was told they were carried everywhere. They are very nice birds, I’m enjoying them.

Starting to get eggs
Going to put some in the bator at the end of the month for myself and a local farmer! Super excited to hatch my own eggs, I’ve been waiting all winter

Was digging, so all the quail got some grass/dirt. I made some tunnels out of it. They’re having fun picking the worms out
