DE and composting

Can you use DE in your liter if you plan on using the liter in your compost? Won't the DE harm the worms and things you need for a good garden? If it does, and I can't use DE, what would you suggest as an alternative for parasite control? Thanks Ray

Food grade DE does not harm earthworms. It will control other bugs in the compost however.
