Does anyone have Crevecour chickens?

I have a Crevecour chicken who we think is a rooster. He is about 9 weeks old and has huge red waddles. From what I can see on the website on these chickens the females don't have these as large. What can you tell me about this breed? Very interested in them. I am new to chickens as well. I don't know if we will keep him if he is a rooster because we live in the city llimits. Are they known to be extremely mean? do I keep him in the same coop as the hens?

Mine is in a giant incubator in Illinois. I live in Ca. How can that be? lol, she's comin from a hatchery.
