i have four BO's that will be 24 weeks tomorrow, and I got my first egg on Sunday- I've now gotten three eggs, all in the afternoon (one sunday, one tuesday, one wednesday). Each one is a slightly different shade of brown. Because they were always laid at the same time of day, I think its only one chicken. I had thought that each hen would have her own signature color, but I suspect that I only have one layer right now. Will the eggs from one hen vary in color, or once they get going will they develop their own color? Or is each egg always different?

First egg on top, second egg on bottom:

Once they get going they will USUALLY lay the same shape and color, but they have sort of off days when egg size and color can vary. You probably just have one layer so far. But hopfully the others will catch on quickly!
