EGG EATER

4 chickens ... 2 are always bantering one another, the larger chases the smaller annoying one. In competition, they started watching each other lay eggs, and go after the other's eggs. In process - both were eating eggs! We started locking in any chicken that was laying to stop this - it worked for the larger chicken stopped eating her own egg. However, the smaller chicken is still eating her own egg! They have a huge run against a pond with plenty of scratching, bugs, worms - yolks bright orange, food ALWAYS in their house with a yard tray for scraps. oyster shell, I bake and grind their shells and put on porridges. Short of rebuilding the coop with roll away or the end of an axe - any other suggestions??

What food do you feed? You may want to try bringing up the protein content. You also may want to cut down on scraps, since that can dilute the protein in the feed, making them want more protein.

Photos of your setup would be good, too. Any chickens being that acrimonious to each other may be being triggered by something in the environment.

Cut out the scraps and treats.
Blow out a few eggs and fill them will yellow dish soap, it will break them of the habit
