Feed Choices...

I have been feeding laying crumbles to my flock of now 14, but have recently added a BCM roo, and a BO roo, and they are huge. Do they require a high protein feed. And now that it is winter, do the hen require a higher protein feed? there are so many choices...

Well, I solve the whole problem, including having young pullets not yet laying, by feeding Nutrena "All Flock" and providing crushed oyster shell free choice in a separate dish. That's for the layers if they feel they need it. (Tchickens, ducks and geese all eat the same feed and it's good for all ages, too.)
