I think I'm ready to go!
I stopped at the St. Vinnie's on the way home today and picked up a big 'ol aquarium for $10, and I got the reflector light, 150 watt bulb, thermometer & pine shavings. I cleaned the aquarium up really well & everything is all set up-- I'm just waiting to see what the temperature gets up to after awhile.
Feed store, here I come-- chickies are coming home tomorrow!
I'm so excited!
PS Thanks for all your help. Of course after I asked, I found the tutorial page on setting up a brooder.
