*GRAPHIC PIC* chick has bloody mass hanging from navel, help?

Don't mess with it. It will dry up and fall off on it's own.
Hi! I know this post was a while ago, but I have a 2-3 day old chick with a prolapsed umbilical about the size of a pea. I just noticed it. It’s dry and hard. I was wondering if I should leave it alone or put neosporin on it like I saw on many other posts? Any advice is appreciated!
