A very wet crew celebrated their first hatchday with a chicken cake made by yours truly! My little peeps are hens now!
Unfortunately, their sister Mahalia is no longer with us. She passed in January of Fatty Liver disease.
These are my first flock in my new house! We got them a year ago from My Pet Chicken's Best Egg Layers assortment.
The chicken cake is based off of several I saw online, with some modifications. Flour, peanut butter, baking powder, water, a few BOSS, and a couple stale Cheerios, with unsweetened plain yogurt for "frosting."
