Help! I picked my 1 1/2 week old chick up and she did a little cough

My 1 1/2 week old chick had stepped in pine shavings with a freshly dropped poop sitting on top of it. So she had poop attached to her little foot. I picked her up to remove the poop but I was holding her with one hand around her whole body while she was sort of frantically trying to get free and then she did a little cough like she was choking and I immediately put her down.
I feel so terrible, maybe I put too much pressure on her chest or something, will she be okay?

How's she doing?

She's probably fine, you may have pressed on the crop and that caused the choking.

Thankfully, She’s doing great! She didn’t show any weird symptoms after so I think I did press on the crop like you said.
