Hi everyone I'm pretty new this is my first time using this website. I have a black Bantam chicken she is about 9 months old and my other chickens for about 2 years old are not being very nice to her. We did the whole introduction thing keeping them separate through fence allowing them to see each other and then introduced. At first everything seemed okay but now my Easter Egger goes after her everyday. She is not making her bleed or pulling feathers out she just bullies her way from treat time and away from being with the flock. All my baby girls are complete free range all day long and they go up in the coop on their own at night. Any suggestions would be so helpful.

Hi and welcome to BYC :frow We're so happy that you've decided to join us:ya make sure to put out an extra feed and water containers and keep an eye on them. As long as they're not drawing blood, they'll generally work it out.

How long have you owned this new Chicken?...She is young and the old Birds don't want to lose rank in the flock..If treats are necessary toss them in many different directions...She is a Chicken and is not as upset as you are...She is fitting in and knows her place...
