Help!! Neighbors dog attacked my chickens!

Since this encounter my rooster still refuses to sleep with my hens or anywhere near the coop for that matter…most days I find them all together foraging for snacks but come evening time when the hens head for the coop he goes and hides by himself under a tarp by my front porch. I think this is odd but unsure if I should be concerned or not
