Help!premature hatching

Our broody hen has been sitting in 4 eggs for the last 15-0 days. This week two of the eggs completely disappeare . Yesterday one of the remaining eggs started piping through. This morning i found the chick in the middle of the coop but its not fully develooed yet. Its eyes arent open and its still in egg fetal position . Its still breathing so i out it under a geat lamp. What should i do? Any chance of it surviving?

Sadly, chances of survival are minimum. Is there any possibility that other hens are gaining access to the nest? That might explain the disappearing eggs.

Well you are right, poor little thing didn't make it. It's been extremely hot here so my broody hen keeps leaving the nest more frequently and I've found other hens sitting in her eggs. Same thing happened to my other egg too, baby hatched too early and didn't survive. I suppose I'll have to set up an isolation mommy baby room next time.
