Hello!

That’s a cockerel. I’m guessing it’s a buff Orpington? Males of this breed typically take longer to grow tails than females at an early age. :)

Bummer cause i already have 1 rooster, supposed to be a hen from tsc but got 1 rooster with my 8 that i bought.

Yes, looks like a cockerel.
Bummer, he's very quiet and unlike the Roo that i already have. Got 1 roo in a bunch that i got from tractor supply & he started crowing at 4 weeks old & ids beautiful but very protective of his girls already. I can pick him up if i can catch him but he is quick. I will have to see about their personalities over the next few weeks. I have 13, 4 older girls and 9 younger!

This is my beautiful boy but already protective. Also my younger i think Roo which was hatched in my kitchen. Wanted 1 roo now got 2. Charlie the best looking roo ever & Sam a buff i think. Need to give a few weeks to see who's personality is the best. Sam does not act like a roo but he is a few weeks younger 10 weeks old now
