how do I replicate my hen's feather colour in her offspring?

even if her sons don't look like her/other colour? And then what do you think the chances would be to get a Wheaton pullet from that breeding?
Well if she has a son it would have to have the recessive gene and if you cross it back to her then the chicks have a chance of looking like her. (I know I probably over simplified but I'm pretty sure that is how it works)

So breed her to any rooster- then breed any of her sons back to her and 50 % of the chicks will be Wheaton????>>!!!

Not at all sure this is true, but I found it to be with my birds.
Pick a recessive colored rooster if you can. Pick a white over a black, for example. That will give the chicks a better chance of being Wheaton / passing it onto the grand chicks.
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong - not a gene expert.
