Here's some information. I have 9 chickens, (8 hens and 1 rooster). We have 1 white leghorn, 3 barred rocks, 3 isa browns, and 2 americanas. Our 1 white leghorn is Our barred rocks favorite hens. He really beans up on her, so weve had to seperate her. We were hoping that if we got more chicks, she would stop bieng beaten up on. However my reason for this post is to ask how I should house them. I read online that having a hen mother the chicks has many benefits, but I'm not sure. Should I raise them inside, inside the coop, or outside seperated into another coop? Any information will be helpful. Thank you!

You could set up a cage inside the coop and put the chicks in it. That way you wouldn't have to worry about integrating later on and they would know how to handle themselves. Having a mother would be very beneficial, but that all just depends on if she would even take them or not. The mother would protect them and again, you wouldn't have to worry about integrating.
