I have a really gorgeous pullet that I would like to exhibit, but she is so cresty and beard-y that she can't even see to eat. For now I have trimmed around her eyes, but obviously that's not an option for an exhibition bird. I've tried little hair scrunchies, but they don't stay in very long...

What do people do with this problem?

So I have a hen who went blind in her eye and can’t show so she got completely trimmed! I tried it before I cut it and it held perfectly is horse rubber bands. Her trim is the last and her bun with the horse bands is the first.
