You can do that or just add another message to your post. Or if you want you can add it to the first post.

Yes, either are fine.
Use 'quote' to answer someone's direct question.
Just add another reply to update situation.

Or if you want you can add it to the first post.

Best not to do this as it can cause confusion with others replies.

ETA: worst way to 'update' is to start yet another thread.

Updates are always welcome. Especially on threads about an illness or injury. It's nice to know when the animal gets better, and that a treatment worked.

And offer condolences if it goes the other way.

Update she is released with the others for quite a while now and seems to be OK. Today I noticed her doing the lip smacking/beak smacking. But all seems pretty well.

As far as the diarrhea with the other two I treated for 10 days with corid. The diarrhea seem to get better. But now I am noticing that it is formed but liquid around it so still too much liquid. Wondering if I should treat with corid again in a couple weeks
