So far, had one hatched yesterday. Five more have hatched today. Four have external pips. Tomorrow is the official hatch date. A quick picture included before I head to bed.

Dry incubated and keeping humidity up in the high 50s/low 60s. Anything lower seems to be too dry for them.

So between the heat of summer, older layers, user error with regards to turning, it looks like 10 chicks are what I am going to get from this go around. Waiting to see what the three  replacement eggs do. Not looking great for these though as the problem with the turner happened during a more crucial time for them.

Going to resanitize and let run a bit with no eggs and try again.

To my surprise, as of yesterday, all three remaining eggs have hatched. One is quite weak but with the turning issue I would notbhave thought any would hatch.

The weak one passed in its sleep. So two total chicks netted out of the three replacement eggs.
